Welcome to The Property Book, a subsidiary of Apartments.co.nz. These terms and conditions are intended to keep The Property Book a great place for all of our members.

The terms and conditions set out below are the terms on which The Property Book offers you access to The Property Book services. By using The Property Book you accept the terms and conditions set out herein.

These terms and conditions will be updated from time to time, without notification. You are responsible for ensuring you are familiar with the latest terms and conditions.

Description of the Services Provided by The Property Book
The Property Book is an advertising service for people who are looking to promote apartments for rent or sale. It’s a promotion tool for Real Estate agents. landlords and sellers. The Property Book allows you to search for apartments within New Zealand.

All services provided by The Property Book are provided "as is". The Property Book assumes no responsibility for the timeliness of communications, the mis-delivery of information, the availability of the service, or the misconduct of any of its members.

At Your Own Risk
Transactions conducted are entirely at your own risk. The Property Book takes no responsibility for any misconduct of its members.

Your Obligations as a Member to Apartments.co.nz
Membership is FREE! Anyone may become a member of Apartments.co.nz. As a member of Apartments.co.nz, you agree to the terms and conditions set out in this document. Your obligations as a user and member of The Property Book or Apartments.co.nz are:

You will provide complete and accurate personal information when registering to use our service. You will maintain personal information to keep it true, accurate and complete at all times.

You will not register under multiple identities or personas.

You will enter listings that are accurate, truthful and complete.

You will NOT enter listings that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, or otherwise objectionable.

All listings, or communications through The Property Book and Apartments.co.nz shall be made in good faith. You will only place listings for apartments that are available.

You shall not attempt to damage or harm the The Property Book web site or the Apartments.co.nz web site or any of it's services.

You may access, download and print materials on this site for your personal and non-commercial use. You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, frame in another web page, use on any other web site, transfer or sell any information, software, lists of users, databases or other lists, products or services obtained from this site. The foregoing prohibition expressly includes, but is not limited to, the practices of "screen scraping" or "database scraping" to obtain lists of users or other information. If and when requested by The Property Book you agree to provide true, accurate and complete user information and to refrain from impersonating or falsely representing your affiliation with any person or entity. Except with the written permission of The Property Book and Apartment.co.nz, you agree to refrain from accessing or attempting to access password protected, secure or non-public areas of this site. Unauthorised individuals attempting to access prohibited areas of this site may be subject to prosecution.

Removal of Listings
Listings are not pre-screened for content on Apartments.co.nz. The Property Book reserves the right to remove any listings that it finds that it deems unsuitable for any reason, or in breach of the terms and conditions of use. Termination of membership may result.

Termination of Membership
The Property Book reserves the right to terminate the membership of any member on Apartments.co.nz without entering into further discussions with the member concerned. Membership will be terminated if multiple listings are in breach of these terms and conditions, or the behaviour of the member is deemed to be unsatisfactory or inappropriate.

System Integrity
The Property Book will make the best possible efforts to ensure the highest possible availability of the The Property Book site and services.

However, The Property Book takes no responsibility for any lack of system availability, or any losses that are incurred as a result of site availability or performance. No responsibility is assumed by The Property Book for the corruption of any of the data held by The Property Book.

Replying to Listings on Apartments.co.nz
Members will only reply to listings where there is a genuine intention or interest.

Placing an Advert
Members can choose what contact details they wish to show when placing an advert.

Refund Policy
Refunds will only be given in the event that a charging error has occured or in the event of proven fradulent credit card use, at The Property Book discretion.

Disclaimer
You expressly understand and agree that your use of The Property Book is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that:

The Property Book shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profit, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses that result from the service, or the inability to access the service.

The Property Book shall not be liable for the conduct or statements of other third parties to the service.

Miscellaneous
The Property Book, logos, product and service names are trademarks owned by The Property Book, or its subsidiaries or affiliates. Without the prior written permission of The Property Book, or its appropriate subsidiaries or affiliates, you agree not to display or use in any manner these marks. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
